3 Forward

We will use Three Forward anytime the other team plays a zone defense that has fewer than 3 players on the baseline (i.e. 1-2-2, 3-2, or 1-3-1)

It is essentially the same play as 3 guard

#3 will move from being a guard to a forward on the bottom row
#3 & #4 will start in the corner
#5 will start on the ball side block
-We will try to take advantage of the mismatch in numbers on the bottom row
-The ball should go from the wing to the corner to the block
-The weak side forward cuts from the corner to the weak side block
-They will try to bring a player from the top to cover the weak side block
-When the ball goes to the corner, the weak side guard flashes to the ball side elbow
-There is no guard to loop around to the weak side in Three Forward
-If the ball comes back up to the wing, the guard at the elbow pops out to the top of the key just like in Three Guard
-There are only two guards in this offense so the guards will have to dribble more to swing the ball from one side of the floor to the other
