Finishing-Group 2

Finger Roll
-Keep the ball off your palm. At the top of your jump, flick your fingers upward to create soft forward rotation and touch.
-Approach the rim with your palm facing the sky, extending your arm high to shield the ball from shot-blockers.
-Release the ball precisely at the highest point of your vertical jump rather than on the way down.
-Jump straight up or vertically into the shot rather than carrying excessive forward momentum into a defender.

Up and Under
-Drive toward the basket at a diagonal angle or maintaining a low, balanced athletic stance.
-Sell a shot fake by lifting the ball high with one or both hands on your first step to force the defender to commit and jump early.
-Watch the defender's momentum. If they fly past or try to block the shot, use the rim and your body as a shield.
- Step through with your outside foot on your second step, bringing the ball down and scooping it low or underneath the defender's arms.
-Release the ball softly off the glass with proper spin, keeping it high enough to avoid trailing hands but protected by the backboard or rim.

Pro Hop
-Take a hard, low, and explosive final dribble as you move toward the basket.
-Launch off your outside or trailing foot while gathering the ball in the air.
-Land simultaneously on both feet. Staggering your landing makes the move a traveling violation.
-Cup the ball tightly or swing it away from the reach of defenders.
-Use the two-foot landing to explode upward for a layup, jump hook, or floater.
