Receiving Passes Fundamentally
-Before the pass is even thrown the receiver should show a target with their hands.
-The hands should be up with the palms facing the target and the hands making a “W”.
-Slight knee Bend.
-Create a W with the target hands.
-Catch the pass with two hands.
-Keep your eyes on the ball until it hits your hands. Most passes that are dropped are dropped because the receiver took their eyes off the ball too early.
-Control the basketball on the catch.
-Triple-threat position after the catch.
